Save DGN
|
The following button will export the
Shear Connector definition 2D model
directly and accurately to Microstation DGN file format, including layers. Save
the DGN file in the desired location and once the export is successful you can
browse to file location and open/view in Microstation.

Shear Connector Type
|
Select one of the following shear connector types
from the drop down list:

Stud -- a shear stud connector will be defined.

Channel -- a channel shear connector
will be defined.

Add Shear Connector
|
Press the folder icon to create a new shear
connector. When the edit box appears in the shear connector list, accept the
default name or enter a new name then hit the
Enter key.

Delete Shear Connector
|
Delete a shear connector by highlighting the name in
the list and press the
Delete (X) button.

Stud Shear Connector
|
The following information defines a stud shear
connector:
Setting | Description |

Height
|
Enter the height of the shear connector in
inches.
|
Diameter
|
Enter the shaft diameter of the shear
connector in inches.
|
Material
|
Select the material to be used from the drop-down
list. The materials are those shown in the material table.

Channel Shear Connector
|
The following information defines a stud shear
connector:
Setting | Description |

Length
|
Enter the length of the channel shear
connector in inches.
|
Section
|
Select the standard section from the drop
down list. The standard sections are added to the bridge project using the
Standard Sections List.

Material
|
Select the material to be used from the drop-down
list. The materials are those shown in the material table.

OK
|
Press this button to save all changes and exit the
dialog.

Cancel
|
Press this button to exit the dialog without saving
changes.
